Introduction

In this study, I propose a new, radical, and provocative perspective. It is not just a different interpretation but a fundamental rethinking of what Revelation tells us about the forces that have shaped the history of the world and our place in this prophetic revelation.

The central point of my interpretation is an unexplored connection: the prophecy of Daniel 8 and Revelation. Traditionally, the "little horn" from Daniel 8 has been associated with a military or political power, but this approach has overshadowed a much more subtle and influential possibility. I argue that this "little horn" is none other than Philosophy – a non-military force, an intellectual power that, starting from Alexandria with the founding of the Library in 280 B.C., conquered the world not through wars but through ideas. Philosophy has been and continues to be the mechanism that has reshaped religions, empires, and the very structure of human thought, dictating the direction in which history has moved up to the present day.

When we look at Revelation through this lens, we begin to see prophetic details that would otherwise have remained hidden. All the events described there take on a new coherence, beginning to align with the cultural and intellectual transformations of the world, not just with political or military events. Revelation is no longer just about physical conflicts but about how the power of ideas has reshaped reality, preparing the ground for the end of history as we know it.
